Holiday Ends
My Christmas vacation ends today and I am back to my flat :(
More on the Christmas holidays soon!
Time to head to bed with my lovely ear plugs :-)
Missed Weddings
I recalled the three wedding dinners that I had to miss yesterday (26th Dec). Should I happen to be home, which one(s) should I attend? Haha.
Congratulations to Nur Hana, my secondary school Head Prefect, who tied her knot at Putrajaya. I was really touched to receive the invitation from her a month ago though we hadn't been keeping in touch for more than a decade! Sorry for not being able to make it, my dear friend.
Another hearty congratulations goes to Syawallina, my primary school friend, whose dad is a family friend. I recalled how she and her dad, Mr. Azman would call me Mooi Mooi. Aiks.
Mom and Pei Yee represented me to her wedding luncheon instead.
Finally, congratulations to Pak Chin, my ex-colleague at Merimen.
I'd say... marriage, it is not an easy decision and requires fair amount of responsibilities. There must be at least some chemistry between the two to make it work. Hmm.. most importantly, the word "Marriage" does not give you goosebumps! Hehe.
Have a blissful marriage, the three of you :-)
Weekend of Host and Hostess
What have been going on during the Christmas holidays?
The host received his family on Christmas eve. The host served his guests to the enchanting light-up and shopping galore at Orchard Road, the hawker-stalls-shopping at Chinatown, the enjoyable experience at Singapore Zoo, the magnificent Vivo City and the simply spectacular Songs of The Sea musical drama showcasing brilliant computer lasers and stunning fireworks at Sentosa.
The hostess would be expecting her family in less than 4 hours at Changi Airport!
Merry Christmas!
Whatever you're doing today, enjoy yourselves and Merry Christmas from me!
Sleepless nights
I am sort of experiencing a mother's life the whole of this week.
My landlord's toddler has been crying when the clock strikes 10:30 PM every night for the past few days. That is about the time I go to bed everyday. Ughhh.. I did not find it annoying the first two days. I thought something must be wrong with her. Somehow, when this happens everyday, I get annoyed easily and it's affecting my mood. I think I'm starting to get into Jennifer Aniston's role in Marley & Me > <
I really wish it will not prolong the next week. I need to get some sleep without feeding loud banging music to my ears. However, I know one thing for sure... I am so not ready to be a mother although I love kids! :p
